This is a piece i drew recently, which i really enjoyed because honestly i never really enjoyed using charcoal until i saw some works by some artists that made use of charcoal as well, then i developed a fresh interest so i got my charcoal and approached it differently, then i finally made this portrait of a yoruba woman, i tried as much as possible to work on the highlight really well by making use of the charcoal tint which made the work much more interesting as you can see, this work took me about 5 hours to achieve and the size of the piece is 20 by 16 inches hope you enjoy the piece, please feel free to tel me what you feel about the art work thanks.
